The Vehicle Pad Module is a recharging station for your big Mining Vehicle. Once you've built a Vehicle Pad, you can use it to spawn the Mining Vehicle which will allow your to stay outside longer and collect more ore. Park your Vehicle on the Pad to recharge it and transfer any ore you've collected into your Base's inventory.
